See Before First Use for how to clean your menstrual cup right out of the box. You can also sanitize your cup using the Saalt Steamer, or Saalt Compact Sanitizer (if using the Compact Sanitizer, remember to turn your cup inside out so your stem doesn't get bent during sanitizing). 

During your period, it's important to remove your cup with clean hands and rinse with cold water to help avoid discoloration and odor. Then wash using warm water and mild soap (like our Saalt Wash). Rinse again to completely remove any soap. Your cup is then ready to reinsert.
