ABSORBENCY
Saalt Wear comes in four absorbency levels: Light, Regular, Heavy, and Super. We encourage you to choose our heavy absorbency if your flow is heavy or if you want to free bleed, wearing Saalt Wear alone. If you have a lighter flow, or just want a backup to wear with your cup, disc, or tampon, our lighter absorbency options may be great for you. Remember that knowing your flow will help determine how long you can wear your Saalt Wear before changing. *A light tampon typically holds 2-3 mL and a regular tampon holds 5mL on average for reference.

Our Leak Proof Lace Hipster, Leak Proof Thong, Comfort Thong, and Seamless Thong styles are made for your light flow days and hold 1–2 light tampons (~1 tsp or 3–6 ml) worth of flow.
BEST FOR:
Light period leaks, spotting, and discharge, as a replacement for a panty liner, or as a backup for a tampon, cup, or disc.
Our Leak Proof Mesh Hipster, Bikini, High Waist Regular, French Cut Regular; Comfort Bikini; Seamless Brief Regular, High Waist, Bikini; as well as our Cotton Bikini and Brief are made for your regular flow days and hold 2–3 regular tampons (2–3 tsp or 10–15 ml) worth of flow.
BEST FOR:
Regular period flow, light bladder leaks, or as a replacement for a tampon, pad, cup, or disc if you are a light bleeder.
Our Comfort Brief, Comfort Boyshort, Seamless Brief Heavy, Mesh Hipster Heavy, Lace and Mesh High Waist Heavy, French Cut Heavy (also available in full waist to waist coverage), and Cotton Heavy styles are made for your heavy flow days or free bleeding and hold 3-4 regular tampons (3–4 tsp or 15–20 ml) worth of flow.
BEST FOR:
Heavy period flow, moderate bladder leaks or as a replacement for a pad, tampon, cup, or disc.
Our Seamless Brief and Bikini, and Comfort Brief, Boyshort, and Bikini, and Mesh Hipster are also available in super absorbency. We also have a waist-to-waist, wraparound Cotton Sleephshort for complete coverage. Saalt Wear Super was designed with gussets that hold 6+ pads or 8+ regular tampons worth of flow (50 mL, or 10tsp). Warning: Saalt Wear Super may inspire confidence, increase comfiness, and make your periods better.
BEST FOR:
Overnight wear, heavy days, moderate bladder leaks. Or as a replacement for a pad, tampon, cup, or disc on heaviest days.
