What is our Delivery Guarantee?
Our Delivery Guarantee is premium package protection for your Saalt order that calculates your carbon footprint and the cost to offset it at checkout. For about 2% of your order total, you can opt-in to have 100% of carbon emissions associated with the order offset, and the order will be fully protected against theft, damage, and carrier mishandling. Carbon offset funds will be contributed to carefully selected projects in partnership with Cool Effect, a nonprofit whose projects are 100% scientifically verified and ethically proven.
The Delivery Guarantee is added by default to your calculated shipping cost at checkout. When added, you can easily file claims for lost, stolen, or damaged items in the unfortunate case any of these issues arise. When you file a claim, it will be reviewed for approval by the Saalt team for a reorder or refund within 2-3 business days. Additional information may be required to complete your claim.
Note: If your order does not have Delivery Guarantee, Saalt is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during shipping. Our Saalt Bliss Guarantee does not cover lost, stolen, or damaged items during shipping.
How much is a Delivery Guarantee?
Delivery Guarantee rates are calculated during the checkout. Delivery Guarantee quotes will be shown during checkout under your order total, if available. Protection price varies on the items and quantities in your cart.
Do I have to purchase a Delivery Guarantee on my order?
Nope. You do not have to purchase a Delivery Guarantee on your order. If you opt-out, please keep in mind that Saalt is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages that occur while in transit.

How do I opt-out of the Delivery Guarantee?
You can opt-out of the Delivery Guarantee during checkout by checking the box under the shipping options that says “Waive Delivery Guarantee”. By selecting this, you agree that Saalt is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages.
