Saalt Menstrual Cups and Discs have been rigorously third-party tested, and with proper use and care, should last up to 10 years.

Washing with soaps that degrade your cup or disc, or repeatedly washing with hard tap water will degrade your cup or disc faster. Please see this article for a list of soaps that will degrade your Saalt Cup or Disc. We recommend only washing your Saalt Cup or Disc with a pH-balanced soap. You can also simply rinse your cup with water during use. 

Menstrual Cups and Discs can become discolored over time, but this doesn't mean they need to be replaced. Check out this article for tips on how to eliminate stains or odors from your Saalt Cup or Disc.  

If you notice the airholes of your Saalt Cup starting to tear, this means it is time to replace your cup. As a reminder, you should not use toothpicks or flossers to clean the airholes of your Saalt Cup. Follow the tips in this video to clear the airholes of your Saalt Cup.  

Your Saalt Cup or Disc should be sanitized at the end of your period before storing away. Be sure you are following the instructions that came with your Saalt Cup or Disc for proper care for and maintain the longevity of your cup or disc.
